Our Story

I’m Mary Toover, the founder of Mary Consulting Ltd and GutResonance. My journey into holistic health began over 15 years ago, inspired by a deeply personal experience. When my child faced allergies, neurological issues, and digestive problems, conventional medicine provided no solutions, labelling these challenges as untreatable. Refusing to accept this, I immersed myself in research and explored alternative solutions. Through simple dietary changes that improved his microbiome and pH levels, every issue was resolved. This transformative experience revealed the body’s incredible ability to heal itself when given the right tools.

As my journey continued, the power of holistic health became even clearer. I witnessed family members overcome chronic conditions that traditional medicine couldn’t address. Arthritis pain lasting more than a decade disappeared, frozen shoulder pain was relieved in just 30 minutes of acupuncture, and natural remedies healed dyspepsia and stomach ulcers. These moments taught me to listen to the body’s signals and respond with care and understanding.

I began to see the body as much like a crying child: silencing the cry through force or suppression only worsens the problem and weakens the connection. But listening attentively, responding with empathy, and addressing the root cause strengthen the relationship and resolve the issue for good. This philosophy became the foundation of GutResonance—working with the body’s natural rhythm to achieve true and lasting health.

On a deeper level, my mission is also shaped by personal loss. Losing my mother to Multiple Sclerosis at a young age profoundly influenced my path. It fueled a relentless determination to find solutions for “untreatable” health challenges and prevent others from experiencing similar pain. Whether it’s sparing a child from needless suffering, helping a parent regain their vitality, or empowering someone to take control of their health, my work is about creating clarity, healing, and hope.
